Hello, I'm Bex! I was born and raised in New York City where I mainly studied ballet for eighteen years. I attended SUNY Geneseo where I met the love of my life and earned a Bachelor's in Communication with a minor in Linguistics. Now, I live in Batavia, NY and am LOVING it here. Now that I've finished undergrad, I figure this is the perfect time to pursue my true passion: photography! I'm a self-taught photographer specializing in portraits. My first and greatest portrait model has been my beagle, Lucy. Be sure to check out the photos of us below! Unfortunately, Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge last October. Other than my dog, I love to travel and I've always loved photographing flowers. My passion for photography started at a young age and with the support of my family and close friends I have learned a lot and developed my skills since childhood. On my family's first trip to Europe when I was 10 years old, I took pictures of every flower I could find. Fast forward eight years to when my mom has finished the scrapbooks from that trip and there's four books of flowers! Since that trip, I molded my skills and have moved onto photographing people, pets and landscapes. Don't worry though, I still squeeze in the occasional flower shot when I can!
